Palestine is the Arab world's step child. The step father or fathers, Saudi Arabia and Egypt have spoken. In all likelihood, Arafat will be asked to step aside even if he wins the elections in January. But Nadine, it is good to know that you, who have steadfastly supported Israel, also feel that Sharon is no person that can win peace. So hopefully in October of 2003, the Israelis will put a Labour majority govt. in place and usher in peace in that region. A lot in the US is riding on Israel as far as high technology companies/subsidiaries of US etc.
