One way to come at Biotech is thru HQH or HQL, Closed-end funds @ 20+% discount to NAV...you get professioanl management at a discount. Despite having read The Biotech Bible, an excellent book on the subject, I consider evaluating companies in the space well beyond my area of modest competence...requires lots of technical understanding and the information flow is like drinking from a firehose. Disclosure: I've held HQH for several years...sold some when Biotech was loved, bought some last week.
