Thanks for posting the Barron's editorial. This is certainly an interesting issue. I would love to see a more detailed breakdown and exactly the options difference. I will go back and read how S&P calculates option costs. Many of the suggested methods seem way to high for my tastes.

Does anyone know if there is anything in the new S&P standards that would change the calculation for free cash flow.

Thanks, a valuable link. Does anyone know where we can find the comparison set of core and reported earnings for all (or most) of the S&P 500 companies?

Is this article a factor in today's onslaught?
