re: Texas is big. If some desert lands appreciate at 0%, but small areas where people actually do live appreciates at 20%, it is no surprise that your statistics gives below 3%.

First, they are not my statistics. They are from the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (a government agency that I assume has nothing against Texas). Second, the study tracks repeat home sales and home mortgage refinance, so I doubt that "desert lands" are a significant portion of the report. "Texas is big", a startling revelation.

Learn how to write a civil post. And look at the report before you make idiotic statements. Is it 100% accurate, no. Does it give you a hint as to what's going on, yes.
