An "Out-Of-The-Box" thought on the XAU. Everyone keeps talking about the S&P head & shoulder. What about the same thinking on the XAU ? Maybe some kind of double-top, head & shoulder (Shoulder @ $50.00 - Head @ $80 to $85ish).

At first I was thinking that I was looking at a bullish flag (lower black box), but I stepped back and saw the steep run from the 2000/2001 bottom. Pretty steep. Then, I looked at the Nasdaq and I'm seeing either a broadening bottom, or a diamond forming. Too early to tell, but earnings coming up, and I think that they will guide higher. Add some time for J6P to funnel more $$ into the markets, and you should see the diamond IMO. Tried to apply the diamond theory to the XAU.

Rising wedges and 30 min bearflags after that move up, all over.
