The issue here is employees who were forced to hold their shares in pension funds with the company. They were not allowed to cash in but the execs cashed in their stock options. The politicians not have to go after the CEOs. It is the accounting practices and not the size or degree of success of a company. If Microsoft starts to slide the issue is will they suffer the same fate as Worldcom etc. as far as the employee stocks, their accounting practices etc.
