On my system, the default home page is stored in the registry. Cut-and-paste the stuff below. Change the "D:\\INTERNET\\MY_HOME.HTM" to whatever page you want. Save the results in a file with .REG extension. Click on the file in Explorer and allow the keys to be imported. Another thought... If you click Start/Run and enter "IEXPLORE SILICONINVESTOR.COM" IE opens at Silicon Investor. Right click your shortcut and be sure that a web page doesn't follow the IEXPLORE in the program box.
