And in addition to the words you use to describe Pakistan I would add the reason they are as you have described and that is that they are a muslim/islam nation and this is the reason they were separated from the rest of India. Same goes for Bangladesh... No matter how you try you can never separate the muslim religion from most of the worlds trouble spots.
