Brian, I think you make a good point when looking at the professional statistics: you never know what the other side is, if there is another side. Another example is that everyone follows the p/c ratio but at best it is a trend following indicator for those reasons IMO.

DJIA threatening to take out the bottom of the expanding triangle its been in since mid-June. That would create some nice fear...
