the same TA rules which may be valid for short term periods of days or months are not viable when applying them to periods of years due to changes in the way business is conducted. you may have an argument for the first part of the statement, i'm not well enough versed in TA to know, but I strongly disagree that it is for the reason you state, none of these companies are operating in a vacuum so business is conducted relative to how others in the marketplace conduct business, not relative to past ways of doing things when everyone did them differently. I don't want to clutter up this thread with non-trading talk. I'll agree to disagree if you want or we can move it to the cfz -g-
