Welcome to camp!!

Added some XEL in the 13's and EP in the 15's today for yield.

Dow down 180, naz down 15 and over 1/2 my tech stocks are up again today.

Many stocks are trending up on both good and bad days. Buyers are in the market for select stocks.

Jim

The great stock illusion

biz.yahoo.com

<<...Over long periods stocks greatly outperform bonds, right? Maybe not. A new study raises the disturbing possibility that this conclusion derives from a misreading of history...>>

I read the action lately as your average index fund investors beginning to bail out of their SP500 shares.

I don't know who is buying KLAC at 45 or QLGC at 41, but it seems that perhaps the hedge fund crowd is now going after the DOW and SP500 like the pirhanha's that they are, and leaving tech alone.

Interesting, much of the low-hanging tech fruit has already been harvested:

Unfortunately, JDSU is one I've avoided. However I have had some nice scores with JNPR and RFMD.
