Al >rumors in the air that one or more European countries are considering recognition of the Confederacy

Those countries are henceforth to be known as "agents of evil".

Alan,
I told you to get them in a flanking position. We were attacking the hill, and had made a significant advance. After resting at the end of the day, the damn yankees creeped up in the middle of the night when not even the Ausies were in the mood to do battle. It was a harrowing site. They struck without notice, took no prisoners, and only hurt morale. No shots fired. At least we saved our ammo. Will have to try again tomorrow!

Did you like the markets? Down over 400 points. At that time the headlines read Bush 0, Bears 400. When the markets came back at the end of the day it was because they were afraid of Allen G's questioning (I mean state of the union) tomorrow! Today's market was truly wonderous to behold. If I believed in conspiracys, I would even think that Bush conspired to bring the market back. At least the gubment has enough money to bring it back in record time.
Interesting Day.

Terry
