The evidence here is exculpatory....

The only exculpatory factor is the absence of a paper trail that only a total moron would leave.

As I said before, I have a hard time believing in coincidence and luck as a factor fortuitously timed insider trades, no matter who is involved. I see no reason to become more credulous simply because the person involved is a prominent politician.

Honstly, tell me: if you saw that kind of timing on an insider trade in a case with no political or ideological ramifications of any kind, wouldn't your default assumption be that something was rotten?
