The market's action during Bush's speech is, simply put, meaningless. I've been trading stocks a long, long time -- and if I've learned ANYTHING it is that Wall Street moves are meaningless. Its reaction to any particular news is no different from drawing a new hand at a Video Poker machine.

When Bush's fellow bushites don't do well in the elections this fall; when Bush does not do well in his own reelection bid, it will have squat to do with the American people not understanding Bush's agenda. In reality, you need not trouble your head any more than it is already is to look for an answer because the answer is........

ITS THE ECONOMY, STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
