["Slider, have you bought XOM ?"]

No... my ass is too puckered for my fingers to work properly (vbg).

I hate losing ANY money - ever.

I'm only 20% long - primarially for the anticipation of an interim counter-trend raly that I think will be orchestrated by Greenspan tomorrow & propped by the ESF/PPT boys.

As long as another earnings/accounting bomb doesn't drop... they just might pull it off.

I think I'll wait for sub $30 XOM... hard to resist there.

DUK could be opportunity,,, EP as well - I've nibbled...not enough to matter ...still short a near equal amount and holding 15% gold stocks...still 40-45% CASH and feel naked any time it's below 50% (vbg).

Watch NEM here. It's THE large cap Institutional play...a break thru $30 on STRONG volume will be crucial.

For fund managers with only 3-4% cash and getting redemptions ramping here... I'd nail down all the windows from the 3rd floor up shortly....this IS getting UGH-LY !

Can you imagine if we completely re-trace the entire post "irrational exhuberance" bubble ?

Greenspan will become a more historically significant clown than either Emmett Kelly, or Bozo...
