What's up with FRAM and smart cards? Has Ramtron said what needs to happen for FRAM to find major use?

Is the memory on the same chip with the logic?

I would guess that EEPROMs are the memory being used nowadays and probably it's on-chip. I would also aver that if the memory is on-chip, it's a tough row to hoe for FRAM.
