tried to blame everything on the previous administration. It is about time he put the blame where it belongs -- on the excesses of the Clinton* (*impeached) years. As I've previously pointed out, Clinton's lies about the economy led people to believe the business climate was better than it was. We're paying the price now. It was clear before this crash that a price would have to be paid, and that is why Greenspan referred to it as "Irrational Exhuberance" -- an apt description of the Clinton years. I don't know whether you have read S 2673, but I have. And it is a tiny start on a huge problem. I would hope that Bush & the Republicans would stop it and try to really solve the problem, but I think the politics of the situation will not allow it.
