JG, This Wall Street flopola was the first criticism he's had since his bugout immediately after 911. This is deserved. The bugout criticism has gone away, though I can't imagine JFK or Teddy Roosevelt going into hiding, even if it was strategically the smart thing to do. Then again, both JFK and Teddy got shot, though Teddy didn't die from his wounds. Perhaps Dubya was being prudent. There is no excuse for his soft-pedalling of corruption.
