Oh, for pete's sake! What will satisfy the bears ? Brokers jumping off the staten island ferry into the hudson river ? If 440 pts off the dow on no news isn't capitulation, then how will it ever happen ?

Well, I for one, have no intention of capitulating. And in fact, if we go by the postings on SI, only the shorts are selling. Maybe the capitulated longs are too embarrassed to post. Or maybe too depressed. Now it remains to be seen if the longs will again let them cover for profit. I guess today the longs got walked on again.

I guess you'll let your AMAT short ride. By the way, SLAB was up 65c today.

I personally think the tide could change very quickly once the dollar has reached stable value. Though I have no idea when that will occur.
