I doubt that anyone here will be in the Everett, Washington area in the next week or two, but if you are, be sure to see the Village Theater production of La Cage aus Folles. It's running July 12 through 28. It was part of our season subscripton. Having see The Birdcage, I expected not to like it, but it was totally marvelous. The son, Jean-Michel, was weak, but the other players were superb, the staging was exquisite, and the direction was masterful. If you have any chance to get there to see it, do so.
