I tried to talk about investing at lunch today. Both the people I was with refused to talk about any type of investment ideas aside from "I'm going to take my 401k out of agressive growt funds" and "I'm going to stop contributing to my 401k now." In fact, one of the guys was in the HR person's office today pushing his contribution down to 1%.

Someone here was saying that people practice reverse dollar cost averaging in their retirement accounts (buying high, selling low) and they aren't kidding.

Anyway, my personal observations is that my personal J6Ps at work have capitulated.

This kinda depressed me as I had a coupla (still) good ideas that I wanted to run by them.
