Jim, re: Take off the blinders. Ali is right. About what? Austin, TX, who cares? Just as who cares about one market in Florida. In Florida, lots of folks buying retirement homes, no more land fill houses being built on canals, so waterfront property is through the roof. I was actually surprised by that report, at how high the rate of appreciation has been. And also the trend, which is clearly towards lower percentage appreciation. If there is a real estate bubble, it is currently deflating, not inflating. John
