Gottfried, the closet I can come to that pattern is something known as a stick sandwich. A stick sandwich is a bullish reversal pattern but confirmation is required. The beginning of today's trading action would have confirmed why. You now have the pattern confirmed. As I mentioned earlier, look for higher prices. In fact, the pattern did close up from where I first posted on the pattern.

The significance of the pattern was its support levels for the two down days. Although it traded down today, it's the opening and closing prices that matter with candlesticks. It wasn't the perfect pattern, but it was close to it. Near term support is in.
