Come on Ted..you don't really believe all this economy is good stuff do you...?

I'm not nearly the bear that you are. I think the economy has made remarkable progress since 9/11. That progress has slowed of late but most indicators have turned up.

And to reinforce that point.....Seattle and Portland currently have the highest unemployment rates for any of the major markets and yet, the housing markets here hardly have flinched.......surprisingly. There is considerable strength in this economy in spite of all the damage that has been done.

And as for the Naz bubble, that's been popped. However, the pessimism it generated is still with us. What's needed is an increase in IT spending to make the tech stocks move up. So far that doesn't look like its happening.
