Also it would put more money in the Cheney/Bush pockets for their war profiteering.

Proof of these scurrilous charges....??

<<...I know that's a departure from your initial expectations...>>

So true...I'm an independent who actually voted for Bush...Yet, in the last few months I have lost confidence in our country's CEO and the VP Cheney...Unlike most voters I have done a lot of research and what I discovered was not pretty at all...The mainstream media is starting to dig in deep too. Yet, IMO Bush is beginning to lose support in his base...Last weekend I was up in Michigan at a big Mexican Fiesta Party for my sister and her fiance -- many of the attendees were from families with lots of 'old money'...Many of the folks are worth tens of millions and some much more than that...Some of these folks are quite conservative and have been voting Republican over the years -- yet a number of them told me they are becoming disillusioned and do not trust most politicians from either party (I don't either). Many of these folks think Bush can and should do MUCH MORE to clamp down on the rampant corruption in corporate America and many of them feel our VP has not come clean with the American people...Some of these folks told me that the country would truly be better off with a new management team -- I couldn't agree more. You have to realize that I was talking with 'the establishment' and some were very successful entrepreneurs and others had inherited a lot of money. Yet, these folks are getting frustrated with those they elected in 2000...hmmm...stay tuned, things could get interesting...=)
