Could today's action have something to do with Europe? The dollar was down to parity. Money was flowing out of bonds even on the way down. The market recovered after Europe's markets were closed. Could this have been serious selling in Europe and the US putting money back in?

NDX could possibly hit 1037 on this run, but that would be the upper limit, IMO. A good indicator of where this is going is whether the pivot high at NDX 1027 can be taken out (COMP 1402.50 or so from last Friday).

The SPX and Dow make a compelling case that they have hit a local bottom. No way for the COMP and NDX. They did not even hit the bottom of their channels, and the volume was not what we need to see on a bottom.

Some might say this was a re-test that was successful. I don't agree.
