Paradigm Advanced Technologies' Destinator Signs Distribution Agreement With Computer Marketplace Inc.
TORONTO, Jul 16, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Ron Yekutiel, General Manager of Paradigm Advanced Technology, Inc.'s (OTCBB: PRAV chart, msgs) Destinator Division confirmed today that a distribution agreement was signed with Computer Marketplace Inc. (CMI) of Tewksbury, MA, a leading systems integrator for advanced software and hardware solutions.
Under the agreement, the companies are combining the Destinator(TM) award winning system with the Hewlett Packard Jornada or the Compaq iPAQ PDA to offer an easy to use navigation bundle that rivals existing automobile navigation systems for a fraction of their cost. The bundle offers any automobile owner a completely automated audible navigation system with a vivid image screen accurate to within six feet and driven through an advanced satellite network. A stylish mounting cradle and accessories are included. The system does not require any costly installation and can practically be used 'out of the box'.
CMI confirmed that the bundle would be marketed through direct channels and through automotive dealers to buyers of automobiles that do not have a factory option for a navigation system and for buyers of vehicles that have chosen not to order such a system with their new cars.
