re:coal - HDWE produces catalysts for such things. No idea if that's going to take a big part of the interim solution. It's done well since I picked up some early 2001 The real solution w. have to involve much higher tech energy that doesn't contribute greenhouse gases. MTBE - Even tho' I've heard radio talk hosts decry environmentalists on the MTBE, I've heard that the petroleum co's themselves pushed for its use, since its an otherwise-unusable byproduct. That makes me suspicious of the scapegoating. Bottom line: who profits? answers the question.
