thanks. some good stuff. especially the poetry.
did you write those? it doesn't matter, you posted
them so i take them as your expression. i hear
you.

>>>"visualize my hand"

I think you are #1 too :-\

good guess... but ya missed it by one.
i'm an old hippie -- 'twas a two-fingered
peace sign. i notice young people (adolescents
and pre-adolescents) using it lately. i like that.

btw... i don't worship bill clinton. i was very
dissapointed in his bald face lie to us about
his relationship with monica. it hurt his credibility
something awful.

what amazes me about him is his depth of understanding
of so many of the complex issues that a head of state must
deal with and his ability to articulate, explain and
decide on a plan of action that almost always is in accord
with my views that we are all one family, interrelated and
interdependent and we must all work together and help each
other grow even though we disagree and see reality
from differing points of view.

i'm not blind to the fact that he constantly "plays"
politics. politics is a game that involves daily
compromise of what most of us as individuals consider
uncompromiseble principles. but what is the alternative?
jimmy carter was an example. impotence in office.

although william played the political game, i don't
think he ever lost sight of the grander vision of a
better world for all. he never WAS, or COULD EVER
be, "bought" when it came down to that higher principle.

i've seen other presidents so uncompromising on
"personal" principles that they cheated themselves and
the world out of the opportunity to advance the higher
good for all... again, jimmy carter, whom i dearly
love as a personal role model, comes to mind. i'm
sure that i, personally, would be no more effective
than carter because there are some deals i won't make.

the more we moralize the less effective we are at
advancing the growth of ALL because our morals are just
points of view that we call personal principles. we'll
never ALL agree on individual principles and morals but
perhaps one day we'll recognize how important it is to
allow each other our differing views in respect of
the natural fact that we are all one family, interrelated
and interdependent and that we must all work together to
help each other and all life on this planet grow.
