<Can the Spanish liberation of Rock of Gibraltar space be far away in time.>

Liberation? Freedom? Perhaps there is greater freedom in Gibraltar without Spain taking over. What do the people living there want? I used to organize ant fights not far from there [near Seville] in 1974. I would move a piece of cheese from one ants' nest to nearer another to see who would win. Those who had the cheese gave up when it was moved closer to the other nest, surprisingly, with very little fighting. There seemed to be a form of democracy in operation where numbers determined who owned the cheese. Perhaps Spaniards and British are like ants.

That cheesey little place, Hong Kong, went back to China although I think the locals were not in favour [due to an expiring lease, but that was just legal form].

Taiwan is a piece of cheese too.

Cyprus was a piece of cheese in 1974 too. My wife and I wondered why tanks were hiding under haystacks near the Turkish and Greek border. kypros.org People, like ants, seem to love cheese.
