Chris,
I used to love options. It was great, you could buy some calls and the stock went up 100pts in two days and you didn't have to worry about time decay. But then....all of that leverage and all of that time decay started working against me. Now, rarely are options any more than 1% of my portfolio.

I lost a lot of money playing with options, just a cautionary tale. If I want to play the darkside, I prefer shorting. And it is specifically the time decay and my unwillingness to pay that premium that brought me to that decision.
