You might have noticed that some Arabs tend to be relatively uninhibited about making up stories which assist their political motives. Remember the massacre at Jenin, with 1000 bodies piled into a mass grave? There was no truth to it, but the rumour spread by many high Arab officials succeeded in creating a huge amount of hatred towards Israel, which was their objective.

Be careful when sorting through unsubstantiated Palestinian propaganda.
