Another interesting statistic. Jews make up 0.5% of the world's population, but have captured 30% of the Nobel prizes.

It might also be noted that the critical contributions of Jewish scientists in WWII avoided the need for an invasion of Japan (Einstein, Szilard, Bohr, Oppenheimer), and that they saved the world from Soviet domination via the H-bomb (Edward Teller.)
