Earlie, a short story;
Was in a big campground in Whitehorse - doing laundry and connected to the net checking SI, stock prices, etc. A fellow (in his late 60's) was looking over my shoulder and commented, "Your in the stock market, eh? How's it doing?".
Well, I knew this fellow had a mongo motorhome and also towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Told him it still declining and things don't look good - and that was good for me, and explained why that was (kinda like the CFZ credo), and then showed him my portfolio on mining stocks and how they've done. His eyes widened until I got up from the desk, slipped on my flip flops, saw my ragged pair of jeans and Jimmie Buffet Parrotheads T-shirt, closed my A21p IBM laptop and shuffled off to my '94 GMC pickup with a '94 slide-in truck camper. I'm sure that left him with the impression that I must have been some kinda wacko, and that he was assured in his opinion that his idea of "being in for the long term" was still a safe and sound strategy!
I smiled as I walked away.
