7:49AM Tyco changed to Not Rated at Goldman -- SEC concerns (TYC) 14.48: Goldman Sachs changes its rating to NOT RATED from Recommended List reflecting heightened concern over a new/renewed SEC investigation. Based on July 2 letter sent to the SEC by the Committee on Energy and Commerce, firm is concerned that further scrutiny of Tyco's accounting practices could be forthcoming.

Wall St seen lower; J.P. Morgan down in Europe
Dealers said rumours of liquidity problems at the U.S.'s second biggest bank had affected the stock, but banking industry sources said they believed there was nothing substantive behind the market speculation. A J.P. Morgan spokeswoman in London said the bank did not comment on market rumours.
