Dan3: "The clearest example being that they stopped accounting for their dead acquisitions ("goodwill"), hiding $500 million in costs, last quarter alone." That's $500 million that has never shown up in their eps calculations...Almost $1.00 per share...With that much latitude, INTC has been able to post whatever eps they so desire...That represents $0.25 eps per quarter that INTC has to "play" with...Not to mention that $5 billion capital gains buffer that has disappeared this past 2 years...Should be interesting this evening to see what "sugar" is left in the bag!!!
