One major reason is, imho, the concern that people believe dollar's decline will cause an global depression via competitive devaluation down spiraling, therefore, renders no better place to go.

No place to go especially those large domestic funds and investors that want to remain in US assets. DOW stocks are the safest (on a fundamental basis)..and they may all rush to buy the same types of stocks, imho.

Also don't think the dollar drop can be avoided given how it is the world's reserve currency. Too many dollars held by international investors and central reminds me of Nasdaq bubble.

I am looking to make a major purchase on weakness today. Bought Dow names yesterday but want to load up today.
Although tech looks more stable (also bought these as well)...but my preference is for the Dow at this point given the dollar situation.
Hope to get a nice buying opportunity this morning.
