Milo- IBM is the first company who has finished its database software DB2 for the native 64 bit mode of AMD's upcoming Opteron processor

This is really good news. That IBM already thinks that Opteron will be worth supporting shows some momentum building for the Hammer. I'm sure it was a very easy port, but the vote of confidence is great!
