Re: COSBI Scores I can't find any meaningful information on what the heck this "Open Source" benchmark is, which compiler and libraries were used. It is very possible that it is a generic Pentium-MMX-like compiler, so the results are not unexpected, and the performance differences are stil marginal. Do not get me wrong, Athlon XP is a very capable processor, suitable for every possible need of vast majority of users. It is just not good enough to compete with Intel advertising machine, and their manufacturing capacity. - Ali
