There were many contributing factors to the bubble. Of which, the money supply was one part.

We traders were a part, corporations were a part, politicians were a part.

But without that money supply and low interest rates, I don't think that we would have had a bubble of the proportions that we did. Do you remember how much tweaking the FOMC did with the interest rates back then? WTF is that about? It was like the FOMC was daytrading interest rates. Greenspan was once a huge proponent to the free market. He has turned into a meglomaniac at the money spigot.
