The fate of Daniel Pearl murderer..Until hanged Omar is moved to condemned ward, known as Mansoor Ward, by the central jail administration after the verdict was announced. He was the 80th prisoner to be kept at the ward. For rest of his life unless his death sentence is overturned by a superior court he will have to count his days in solitary condemned cell. Before his transfer, he was allowed a detailed meeting with his father, Saeed Sheikh. The jail authorities allow visitors to meet a condemned prisoner once in a week. The other three convicts in the case, Salman Saqib, Adil Sheikh and Fahad Naseem have been kept in normal cells at the jail and they would be allowed a one-hour stroll outside their ward. No food, brought from outside, is allowed to be served to the prisoners without checking.

Militants showed their ugliest of faces and deadliest of intentions in wiping out innocent people. These are crimes against humanity, ideological targeted killing is scourge of mankind instead of move forward these are major setbacks, any religion or thinking or school that associate itself with such killings have no place to survive in modern society. Ethnic cleansing is abhorrent crime and one should not overlook this or chew words not to condemn or abhor it with strongest of terms and actions. I have written since the incident several condemnations and I think that the political intentions are quite clear the recent cooling of tensions is not in their interest, the fringe elements see a return to normalcy a direct threat to their safe heaven s and survival. Northern areas of Pakistan and areas around Parachinar are areas where most of the dirtiest of the rogue elements make their living, these are inaccessible areas they have survived so far by the definition of Kashmir as a struggle of independence against terrorism. Recent arm twisting and linking of Alqaeda with separatists and their common objectivity along with quick graduation from local operatives to global Islamic extremists, the world as well as Pakistan has realised that these very people will make another Afghanistan if they are allowed to continue, I think the poor innocent citizens of Jammu will be subject to these horrific target killing because for militants the easiest way to escape from the present disaster is to create frictions within sub-continent once again and in name of defending Pakistan and its borders align themselves once again with the Pakistan army alike Afghanistan struggle, a struggle with Indian would remove the forces that are making their typical sanctuaries difficult to sustain. It is peace that will become difficult to sustain, the more peace moves are made between two traditional rivals the more ugly and heinous will be crimes against the innocents. Unfortunately the global Islamic extremists Terror Inc uses same manual, in Palestine Hamas survives on killing now the brigade does that job too, the political struggle replaced by innocent killing to cow sovereign nation, in Chechnya the terrorists bombed Moscow several times, in Kashmir the train of incidents is from the same page of the global instructions make upheaval so big that irrationality becomes currency of the day, once we become irrational, once nations start shooting the terrorists becomes darlings and are in business, the state of war has to continue for terrorists to survive, they only survive in nations where the struggle of independence and terrorism has definitely crossed lines. To take help from extremists for any kind of nation building or independence struggle is asking for long term trouble, Pakistan will realise it so will the Palestinians. These extremists than turn around and demand a god given right to rule with the laws that are 1400 years old and totally antiquated. The cancer that erupted in full swing from elimination of USSR from Afghanistan has bequeathed a very disturbing aspect of Islamic extremists that of perpetual struggle with bullets, although I haven doubts that like other phenomenon’s that die this will pass too but the struggle is steep since notion of God and godly indulgence in such acts is wrongly assumed. This is a war I have no words to minced this is a war between medievalism and progress, we loose it humanity will be the loser, those who think that Muslim blood is dearer than Hindu blood misinterpret the fine eco balance of human evolution. We are all the same and as Weasel puts it with one Adam and Eve we have same ancestors that is what the divine plan is, divine plan is nothing but love and progress of mind to higher plains. With my best love and heartfelt condolences to all brothers and sisters In Jammu who lost their lives to wanton act of aggression. May their souls rest in peace.
