Measured against Clinton who, after 18 months. had managed to fill the military with gays, rob the public with a tax increase, and waste huge military resources in Haiti...

Dear Ish: Well, I also think he has caused World Opinion to respect the USA more then before. They see us drive out the Taliban, they see us all in the street waving Flags and all, that has GOT to make an effect on people overseas. If nothing else, I suggest they now realize the sleeping Tiger has awaken, and everybody better start tip toeing around. JDN

"Stopping a nuclear war"

>>> A war by two nuclear powers has never yet been waged. Perhaps if Pakistan disintegrates in the near future - and control lurches to the religious fundamentalists - we will have the opportunity to 'witness' one.

"Closer ties with Russia"

>>> Russia's tilt towards capitalism and the West has been underway for over a decade. Now, however, we need them as security partners in the war on terrorism... a new strategic development, and one Putin is playing for all it's worth (hint: it's worth a lot).

"Getting out of that damned world court Clinton signed us up for"

>>> Clinton only signed for show, and to help pull the 'allies' into our plans for reform in the Balkins. The treaty was never submitted for ratification, and was never in force.
