Anything is possible but there might be another explanation to yesterday`s rise.

big trade yesterday in the SP pit

From Dan Fitzpatrick

Had an interesting chat with Fari Hamzei of Hamzeianalytics.com. Fari said that that yesterday's sharp reversal was not short covering, nor was it related to the Fed (so much for conspiracy theorists). Instead, a large mutual fund and a pension fund committed new money at these levels. The brokers were big bulge-bracket investment banks, and the trade was close to 10,000 SPU contracts. That was what caused the sharp "superball" bounce.
Just so you know.

re >>CNBC - WHY<< Vanity is a powerful elixir. They are drunk with it and can't see that the world is actually laughing at them. They actually believe they were what inflated the bubble, and they were to some extent, but they still believe they still have that power. To admit a PPT would be to admit defeat.

CNBC - WHY the lack of guts, the lack of credibility, the lack of journalistic integrity to call a spade a spade and to call yesterdays rally what it obviously was to the rest of the world; not to mention what it obviously was to all of your reporters, anchors, guests and viewers as well ?

WHY ?
I think they fear losing their jobs, and then also not being able to get good jobs elsewhere if they truly speak their minds. (in my opinion of course)
