Sam, thanks for reporting your findings on stocks during the last secular bear market. I have a hunch that even Moore's law would not help against such a beast.

I believe I said that they are unlikely to produce consistent above average profit growth. Those that do, KO, have very rich valuations.

Yes! Competitive advantage doesn't necessarily create consistent above average growth. Have you noticed that most analysts and market gurus don't really understand technology? They treat it like a black box and tend to like and understand box makers. I have failed to convey to you and, possibly, many threaders the excitement I have at being fully invested at low prices, primarily in my 8. I had a portfolio that looked like a growth fund in 1982. Now, I think a lifetime of knowledge and wisdom has been distilled into my stock selection.
