If the overall market continued to drop the multiple investors were willing to pay for the increased cash flow could actually go down, hence one could theoretically see a rise in the price of bullion and cash flow resulting in a drop in gold stock prices. This is why I said a little panic helps gold stocks, but a lot of panic can kill them.
