It would be great if you have time to research WHEN we stopped having English as the ONLY language in which various subjects are taught, unless of course, it is a foreign language. I truly believe it was when we started getting totally PC, and that seems to be in the 1960's-1970's....

And I believe it is Congress, both Houses, that should be stepping up to this plate. The Administrative Branch can only suggest, but it is the Congress who controls....

I also believe that as future "Citizens of the World" our children should be required to have a 2nd language from Grade 1 through High School~~ (one of the 3-4 Major ones, not a choice of 500+).

BUT I don't believe that 2nd language should be the vehicle to teach math, geography, history etc etc....

If the school receives Federal money, I firmly think we should be teaching ALL subjects in English.
