What others am I referring to? Do you think Shannon is the only widow with children. There are many husbands who won't be returning from Afghanistan, or work - leaving their families in the same plight as Shannon. There's the father who on his way to work was taken out by a teenage driver high on dope. There's the man who swerved his car to protect his wife from being hit by an oncoming car and was killed. There's the father whose car fell on him and crushed his chest, or the man who fell through the roof on a construction site, leaving behind a young wife and two babies. I know these ladies and they are doing great thank goodness, but I know too of another woman left behind with burdensome debt who took her own life. That's so sad. You were mistaken when you thought I didn't care. And I think that's very compassionate of you to want to help this woman, who is, after all, one of many.
