MSFT continues to grow EPS.

you need to look up MSFT's earnings per share occasionally..... see any pattern here?

from MSFT's 10Q's and 10K's.....

2001 Diluted EPS $1.32 if you use what the S&P and soon the US accounting brd are going to use it is instead now....$0.91

2000 Diluted EPS $1.70 if you use what the S&P and soon the US accounting brd are going to use it is instead now....$1.48

2002 is shaping up to be worse than 2001..... lets see how much MSFT "writes off" in one time charges this quarter......

Dell is making some aPPle Juice

Shares of Apple this year have underperformed Dell Computer Corp., the PC-maker rival which is actively pursuing consumers and education technology buyers, both key Apple bases. Apple shares have fallen about 18 percent, compared with a 4 percent drop by Dell.

The quarterly results came as Apple works to expand its market share, which is about 5 percent of the U.S. market, with a revamped product line credited with reestablishing the company’s reputation for innovation.
