Shark, the rules that have worked for many years once we got past the 30's are not working anymore. The markrt is blowing tackles past Fed rate drops, ARMS readings, and everything else. As Greenspan referred to the situation, it is a hangover. Hopefully the mistakes from the past will not be repeated, and they will neither raise nor lower rates, trying to send some kind of message which will invariably be misconstrued. The PPT may at various points come in and keep propping the market up until earnings catch up. This too shall pass -g-
