Sharon seems to be doing a pretty good job with the peacemaking these days. He has correctly recognized that there will never be peace while the Arafat mafioso leadership is in control, and he is doing a good job of eliminating them and thereby giving the Palestinians a chance at a new beginning.

I have little confidence that the Palestinians will grasp the opportunity they have been again given, but at least Sharon is trying.
